Firstly, wash and soak dal in water overnight.

Now boil dal add turmeric powder, salt in pressure cooker and boil it for about 10 -12 mins.

Take a pan add 1 tbsp ghee add cumin seeds, garlic, ginger add cinnamon stick, fry for a second.

Add tomato puree let it cook for about 2-3 minutes Add all the spices mix well.

Now add the above prepared mixture into the boiled dal.add crushed cardamoms Let it cook for 5-7 minutes untill thicken and then add cream and butter to it.

Serve with steamed rice.
