In my previous post I posted "fry roti" recipe, which we can store easily and use it when we have less time to cook. I have posted many daal recipes so you can select anyone from there but here is my favorite combination.

In my previous post I posted "fry roti" recipe, which we can store easily and use it when we have less time to cook. I have posted many daal recipes so you can select anyone from there but here is my favorite combination.

In a pan heat ghee. Add asafoetida and cumin seeds and saute for a minute. Now add chopped onion and saute till onion gets translucent.

Now add tomatoes in it and saute till oil oozing from the sides and tomatoes get mushy.

Stir it well and mess them properly. Now add all masala powder, salt and sugar. Add some water and stir it until water evaporates. Now add cooked dal in it and mix well. Bring a boil and cook for few minutes on low flame. Turn off the gas and keep aside.

Mix salt and pepper in curd and mix well. Keep aside.

In a serving plate put 2 fry roti and crust them. Now pour 2 ladles of dal fry. Put 2 tbsp curd over it. Put tamarind chutney, green chutney and red chilli sauce. Enjoy hot....
