Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 cupmasoor dal
  2. 1 cupRice
  3. 4clove
  4. 2cardoman
  5. 1cinnamon
  6. 1bayleaf
  7. 1starflower
  8. 1 tspcumin seeds
  9. 1 pinchhing
  10. As per taste Salt
  11. 1red chilli
  12. 1 tbspghee
  13. 1/4 tbspturmeric powder

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Heat a cooker, add ghee and cumin seeds and let it crackle. Now add starflower,bayleaf, red chilli and cinnamon

  2. 2

    Now add rest of spices. Roast them and add rice and dal.Close the lid and cook it till 3 whistle.

    Open the lid and plate it.

    Ready. Serve hot.
