Ingredients

  1. 2 pcsBoneless Bangus. I use belly part
  2. All-purpose flour for coating
  3. Salt & Pepper
  4. 1red onion, cut into rings. *You can also use white onion
  5. 2 clovesGarlic minced
  6. Cooking Oil for frying
  7. Spring onion, chopped for garnish
  8. Sauce:
  9. 1/4 cupSoy Sauce
  10. 1/4 cupCalamansi juice
  11. 1/4 cupWater
  12. 1/4 tsppepper
  13. 1 tbspBrown Sugar
  14. Notes: You can also use Tuna or Mackerel

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Season fish with pepper & a little salt. Set aside. 10 mins.

    Heat oil in a pan. Dredge fish in a flour.

  3. 3

    Over medium heat, fry fish and cook both sides. Set aside.

  4. 4

    In a bowl combine sauce ingredients, mix and set aside.

    In the same pan sautee onion and garlic for about 1 minute.

    Pour in sauce mixture. Cook for a minute or 2 and slightly reduced.

  7. 7

    Add fried fish. Simmer for 1 minute.

  8. 8

    Transfer in a serving plate. Garnish with spring onion.
    Serve.
