
Vegan tempeh kabobs

Cut the tempeh and steam for 5-10 minutes (everywhere I looked recommends this for best marinade results)

Make the marinade to taste. I like mine spicy so it was mostly hot sauce, lime and cilantro. Add more honey/vinegar if you prefer less spicy.

Marinade tempeh chunks for 4-24 hours

Cut vegetables into pieces roughly the same circumference so everything on a skewer can get the grill marks

Add everything to skewer and season with salt and pepper. Brush veggies with leftover marinade if desired.

Grill for 5-10 minutes enough to char the edges and cook tempeh.

Use the leftover marinade as a sauce for veggies and tempeh.
