Ingredients

  1. 7-8snake gourds (we have a lot because my mom picked them from the garden)
  2. Pork liver (amount as desired)
  3. 1 headgarlic
  4. 2-3shallots
  5. 4-5bird's eye chilies (adjust spiciness to taste)
  6. 1 tablespoonsoy sauce
  7. 1 tablespoonoyster sauce
  8. 1 tablespoonfish sauce
  9. 1 teaspoonsugar
  10. 1 teaspoonMSG
  11. 1 teaspoonseasoning powder
  12. 1ladle of vegetable oil
  13. 1/2 cupwater

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the snake gourd thoroughly and cut it into bite-sized pieces. Then, cut the liver into bite-sized pieces.

    Chop the bird's eye chilies, slice the shallots, and crush the garlic lightly.

    Heat a pan and add vegetable oil. Once hot, add the chilies, garlic, and shallots. Stir-fry until fragrant, then add the liver and stir-fry until cooked.

    Add the snake gourd and stir-fry together. Add water and cook until the gourd is tender. Season with soy sauce, oyster sauce, seasoning powder, MSG, sugar, and fish sauce. Stir well, taste, and adjust seasoning as desired. Serve on a plate.
