Ingredients

2-3 people
  1. 1 cupRice Flour
  2. 1 cupWater
  3. as required Salt to taste
  4. 1/2 tspGhee/Clarified
  5. 2 tbspOil
  6. 1/2 tspMustard Seeds
  7. 1/2 tspCumin Seeds
  8. 2 stringsCurry Leaves
  9. 1/8 tsp Asafoetida
  10. 2dried red chilli
  11. 1 tbsp Urad Dal
  12. 1 tbsp Chana Dal
  13. 1 tbspWhite Sesame Seeds
  14. 2 tbspCoriander Leaves chopped

Cooking Instructions

    In a vessel, add 1 cup water, 1/2 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp ghee, bring it to boil.Add 1 cup rice flour, stir well for 1 min.On a clean surface, add rice flour mixture, Knead well (rice flour mixture will be very hot so carefully).Grease the palm and make small balls..Ready the steamer & steam the idlis for 15 minutes on low medium flame. Spongy small idli balls are ready.

    Heat a kadai, add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, urad dal, chana dal, saute.Add curry leaves, red chilli, salt, saute.Now add white sesame seeds, saute.Add steamed balls, mix well.Now add chopped coriander leaves &mix well.Close the lid and cook for 2 mins on medium flame.Tasty Goli Idli is ready to have.
