Ingredients

  • seasoning for grilled chicken
  • 3boneless and skinless chicken thighs
  • 1minced garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoonsoy sauce
  • 1 tablespoonoyster sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoonssesame oil
  • 1 teaspoonvegetable oil
  • vegetables and seeds
  • 2 1/2 cupsNapa cabbage, Julianne
  • 2 cupsChinese cabbage, Julianne
  • 1/4 cupshredded carrot
  • 1 cupcooked broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cupshelled and cooked edamame beans
  • 2 tablespoonschopped cilantro
  • 1/3 cuphalf shelled roasted peanuts
  • 1 1/2toasted sesame seeds
  • asian salad dressing
  • 2 tablespoonsvegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoonsesame oil
  • 1/4 cuprice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoonshoney
  • 2 tablespoonshoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoonssoy sauce
  • 1 teaspoonpeeled shredded ginger

Steps

  1. 1

    In a bowl mix the ingredients for the grilled chicken and season the chicken thighs. Leave marinating for 45 minutes.

    Heat up a griddle and brush it with a bit of oil.
    Place the chicken thighs on the griddle. Cook, and brown it on both sides. Let it cool off. Slice the cooked chicken.

    In a bowl, beat all the ingredients for the dressing.

    In a bowl mix the Napa cabbage, Chinese cabbage, shredded carrot, half the broccoli, half the edamame beans and half the cilantro.

  5. 5

    Add and mix in, half of the dressing to the vegetables.

  6. 6

    Serve the salad on the plates and arrange on top the sliced chicken with the rest of the vegetables.

  7. 7

    Sprinkle the top with the peanuts and sesame seeds.

  8. 8

    Pour over the chicken and vegetables some of the dressing to your own taste.
