An easy, tasty and quick recipe ideal for snack or dinner.
Steps
- 1
For Batter: Mix sooji, curd, salt, sugar and water. Cover and set aside for 15 minutes.
- 2
Meanwhile, prepare the green chutney.
- 3
Make paste of 1 1/2 cups of sweet corn with ginger and chillies. Reserve some sweet corn to be added to the batter later.
- 4
Now into the rested rava-curd mixture, add in the sweet corn paste, dry masalas, reserved sweet corn and oil. Mix.
- 5
Mix well. Keep batter of thick dropping consistency. I made two thalis out of this quantity of batter. Into half the batter, add 1/2 tsp Eno fruit salt and little water on it to activate the Eno.
- 6
Mix well. The batter will get fluffy. Pour the batter into a greased thali kept in a readied steamer. Sprinkle the topping ingredients.
- 7
Cover and steam for 8-10 minutes until the inserted knife comes out clean. Meanwhile, prepare the tempering.
- 8
Take out the Sweet Corn Dhokla plate from the steamer. Cool a bit and cut into pieces.
- 9
Drizzle tempering all over. Sprinkle coriander. Serve hot
- 10
Enjoy with family and friends.
