Mix rice flour, cornflour, potato starch. Add in boiling hot 1200ml of water with Seasoning (A). (keep a portion of salt to use for dried shrimp) to the stainless steel mixing bowl. Use the flat whisk to whisk the mixture.. this process will make the yam cake with q q texture.

Cut Yam, Mushroom and Sausages into cube form

Heat the wok with oil. Fried shallots till golden brown. keep it aside.

Continue to fry Garlic, dried shrimp and some salt. till fragrant, add in mushroom and sausage and Yam.

Add into the flour mixture and mix well.

Grease the steaming pan then pour in the flour mixture to steam over medium fire for 1hr 40min
