Ingredients

  1. 750 gramsCream Dory Fillet
  2. 1 tspfinely chopped lemon grass
  3. 1 tspfinely chopped ginger
  4. 1chopped onion
  5. 4 clovesif crushed garlic
  6. 1 tspfish sauce
  7. 1 tbspfreshly squeezed lemon juice
  8. 1beaten egg
  9. salt and pepper
  10. 2-3 cupsbreadcrumbs
  11. for the sauce
  12. 2 cupscoconut milk or coconut milk powder dissolved in water
  13. 1 tspchopped lemon grass
  14. 3 clovescrushed garlic
  15. 1small onion chopped
  16. 1 tspchopped ginger
  17. 2 tspapple cider vinegar
  18. chilli flakes (depending on how spicy you want it to be)
  19. SIDES (optional) **i put sides to replace rice**
  20. 2 cupsbaby potatoes
  21. 1big carrot
  22. 2 cupschopped spinach

Cooking Instructions

    For the marinade, mix garlic, onion, ginger, lemon grass, lemon juice, fish sauce, chilli flakes in a bowl and add sliced cream dory fillet. mix until every fish is coated.

    Beat eggs. dip the fish fillets one by one the coat it with bread crumbs.

    Preheat oil in a pan. deep fry the fillets until golden brown

  4. 4

    For the sauce. saute ginger, onion, lemon grass, and garlic. then add the vinegar. let it simmer first before you put the coconut milk or the milk will curd. add fish sauce, chilli flakes, salt and pepper to taste.

    For the sides, boil potatoes for 3-5 mins. blanch carrots and spinach

  6. 6

    Serve and enjoy.
