Ingredients

  • 18 eachjumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cupuncooked chopped bacon
  • 1 1/4 cupwhite or red onion
  • 2 clovegarlic
  • 1 cupwhite cooking wine
  • 2 cupheavy whipping cream
  • 1 cupitalian blend shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cupshredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 lbshrimp, 60 ct.
  • 2 cupspinach
  • 1/4 tspsalt, or to taste
  • 1/4 tsppepper, or to taste
  • 1 1/2 tspsriracha, use more or less to your taste
  • 1/2 cupItalian style bread crumbs

    Cook pasta according to directions; drain well.

  2. 2

    Cook bacon in skillet over medium heat, until crispy. Drain in small colander over a bowl, saving grease.

    Add 1 tbsp. reserved bacon grease, onions and garlic to same skillet, saute until browned, add 1 C. white wine and simmer until almost dry.

    Add 2 C. heavy cream and simmer 5-10 minutes or until sauce coats the back of a spoon. Stir in cheeses, until melted, add shrimp and spinach, cook until spinach is wilty and shrimp is slightly pink. Remove from heat

  5. 5

    Turn oven on to broil. Place pasta in a greased 2 quart baking dish (I use glass) add shrimp and spinach mixture and fold in to pasta. Top with a sprinkle of italian blend cheese, and 1/2 cup bread crumbs. Broil for 5-10 minutes until brown and bubbly.
