In a sauce pan, add the milk, chopped onion, bay leaf, star anise, and cloves and bring the milk to a boil. Turn off the flame and allow the milk to infuse the flavours of the spices.

Heat butter in a pan, add the garlic and saute. Add the corn and peas and allow to cook. Now add the flour and cook till the rawness disappears.

Add the milk by straining and stir continuously until the sauce thickens. Now add the seasoning and the pasta and cook for 5 mins.

Serve hot with some toasted garlic bread.
