Soak chickpeas overnight

Boiled in a pressure cooker with pinch of soda when it's become soft off the flame and keep a side

Now heat oil in a wok add chopped onion and saute for 2 to 3 minutes

Now add red chilli, turmeric, tamarind pulp, sugar, cumin powder, salt and add little water.

Saute all the ingredients till oil comes from sides and above

Now add boiled chickpeas and cooked for 5 minutes mix well and garnish with coriander leaves

Serve hot and enjoy this sweet and salty choley
