Ingredients

240 mins
8 servings
  • 500 grwholemeal flour
  • 600 grwhite bread flour
  • 10 grinstant yeast (or 25 gr fresh yeast)
  • 2 teaspoonssugar
  • 2 teaspoonssalt
  • 100 mlolive oil or 25 gr butter
  • 2 tablespoonswhite wine vinegar (optional)
  • 650 mllukewarm water

    Combine all the dry ingredients

  2. 2

    Add the olive oil and lukewarm water

  3. 3

    Knead with the Kenwood dough hook for 5 minutes at the lowest speed or by hand for about 20 - 30 minutes (until rubbery)

  4. 4

    Put in a warm place to rise twice its size (approximately 1 1/2 hours

  5. 5

    Knead off for about 5 minutes

  6. 6

    Form your dough and put in a bread pan, lined with butter

  7. 7

    Let rise again for about 30 min’s

  8. 8

    Bake at 180 C (350 F) for about 20 – 30 min’s.
