Ingredients

3 servings
  • 1 1/2 cupUrad dal soaked for 6-8 hrs
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2Green chillies
  • 1 bowlCoconut chopped in small pieces
  • 2curry leaves
  • As neededBlack peppercorns
  • 1 inchginger
  • as neededChutney coconut chopped tamarind salt ginger garlic
  • For tempering of chutney
  • as needed oil
  • pinchasafotieda
  • 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  • as neededcurry leaves
  • to tastered chilli

Steps

  1. 1

    In a grinder add all ing.and grind with very little water till it gets semi thick consistency.

  2. 2

    Now take it out in a bowl add coriander leaves finely chopped and mix well.

  3. 3

    In a pan heat oil and dein wet ur both hands and take a mixture on palm make a round again dip a finger in water and make hole in middle and slightly drop vada in pan and fry till it becomes crispy and golden brown.

  4. 4

    For Chutney-Grind all the above ing. and lastly give a tempering on it.
