Ingredients

  • 50 gmsbesan (gram flour)
  • 200 gmsveggies of your choice
  • 4 tspghee
  • 1tomato
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 1 tspmethi seeds
  • 1 tsptamarind paste
  • 1 tsprasam powder
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tsproasted cumin powder
  • 1 tspgaram masala powder
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • leavesFew curry
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 cupswater

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a thick deep bottom pan or a pressure cooker. Add ghee. Add cumin seeds & methi seeds. Let them crackle. Add besan & roast it on slow flame till bright golden brown. Add salt, rasam powder, spices, tomato & water. Let it cook for 5 mins. Add tamarind paste & veggies. 2 whistles & Curry is ready. Also u can keep on slow flame for approx 12-15 mins till veggies are cooked. Add curry leaves & serve hot with steamed rice.
