Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 1 1/4 lbmushrooms, sliced
  2. 1 cupsauerkraut
  3. 1onion, diced
  4. 2Granny Smith apples, diced
  5. 1/2 cupred wine
  6. 2 cupscabbage, chopped
  7. 1 tspgarlic, minced
  8. 1 cuptomatoes, diced
  9. 3/4 cupsbeef broth
  10. 1/2 lbsmoked sausage, sliced
  11. 1 lbcooked meat (beef, chicken, pork, ect)
  12. to tastesalt and pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Lightly oil a large casserole dish.

  2. 2

    Layer meats, onion, sauerkraut, garlic, tomatoes, mushrooms, cabbage, and apples into casserole dish

  3. 3

    Pour broth and wine over contents and cover with foil

  4. 4

    In a preheated 325° oven, bake for 2.5 hours. Serve warm.
