Ingredients

  1. 1 cupyellow split peas
  2. 1 cuppeanuts
  3. 1/2 cupcashew nuts
  4. 1/4 cupraisin
  5. 1/2almonds
  6. 2 teaspoonsBlack mustard seeds
  7. 2 teaspoonsred chilli powder
  8. 2-3 teaspoonsTumeric powder
  9. 10curry leaves
  10. 2 teaspoonssugar
  11. 2 teaspoonssalt
  12. 3 cupsflaten rice flakes /pauwa
  13. 2potatoes (thin slices)
  14. Cooking oil as required

Cooking Instructions

    Soak yellow split peas for 5 to 6 hours then drain all water

  2. 2

    In a big pan add 2 teaspoons of cooking oil, curry leaves and mustard seed for 1 minute on low heat

  3. 3

    Add required frying oil start to fry potatoes until golden and crispy remove and let drain all the excess oil

  4. 4

    Add flaten rice flakes small portion on low heat until puffed and crispy

  5. 5

    Add yellow split peas fry for few minutes or until colour change remove and drain oil

  6. 6

    Fry cashew nuts and almonds for few minutes or until colour change remove and let drain

  7. 7

    Add peanuts until brown light remove and let drain the oil

  8. 8

    In small bowl add suagr. Salt. Tumeric and chill powder mix well

  9. 9

    In big bowl add everything and sprinkle salt mixer and mix well

  10. 10

    I like to put on kitchen paper for drain excess oil cover for 20 minutes

  11. 11

    Then store in a tight lid container
