Firstly grind the garlic and ginger. Now put the red chilli, curd and some water in the mixture jar and make a smooth paste.

Heat the oil in the utensil and now add cumin seeds and asafoetida in the oil. now add ginger, garlic paste in the oil. When garlic gets light brown then add red chilli paste and salt and cook it on low flame.

After some time when the chutney starts to loose oil then turn off the gas.
