In Bihar, there's a saying: "Holi wa pua kha," meaning malpua is the main dish for Holi. These days, we often buy a variety of sweets and snacks from the market for festivals, but celebrations feel incomplete without traditional dishes. That's why I always make malpua for Holi, and both my family and guests enjoy it. I hope you try my recipe and share malpua with your loved ones. ~Sushma Mishra Home ChefTranslated from Cookpad India -
Jowar Popcorn Chivda Jowar Popcorn Chivda
During the Holi festival, it's said that summer begins right after. During this time, our digestive system undergoes some changes, so it's beneficial to consume jowar popcorn in some form. On the occasion of Holi, it's customary to eat this jowar popcorn. During the Holika Dahan, we mix jowar popcorn with dates and roasted chickpeas. I've made a very spicy and tasty chivda, which is also very nutritious. Neeta BhattTranslated from Cookpad India
