Cooking Instructions
- 1
Take out the flour in a mixing bowl, add semolina and mix it. Add salt, pepper powder, carom seeds, and cumin powder and mix it.
- 2
Add hot oil to it and mash it with your hands to make a stiff dough by adding little water, cover, and keep it for 15 minutes.
- 3
Take a big ball and roll it with a long fork and poke holes in the rolled sheet so that the mathri will not swell. After this cut round mathris from the bowl.
- 4
Remove all the mathris from this sheet, separate the remaining part of the sheet, heat the oil on medium flame and add mathris and cook on low flame.
- 5
When mathri comes up, flip it, turn it golden brown and cook it. After this remove all the mathris from the hot oil. Place it on tissue paper so that the oil drains out. Serve hot mathri on a serving plate.
