  1. 1 litremilk
  2. 1/2 cupgobindobhog rice
  3. 1/2 cupsugar
  4. 1/4 tspcardamom powder
  5. 1/2 tsprose petals

    First soak rice in water for 30 mins. Rinse rice 2-3 times, strain and set aside.

    In a large pot add milk. Let it come to a rolling boil. Add soaked rice. Cook until rice turns soft, try to press the rice with a spoon if its mashable then rice is cooked perfectly.

    Now add sugar and cardamom powder. Mix it well. Simmer until kheer becomes slightly thick.

    Add some rose petals. Serve kheer hot or cold as per your preference.
