Cooking Instructions

First of all,Peeland grate the dudhi clean and chopped coriander and wash it. Sift all the flour and add dudhi(bottlegourd coriander, all spices,oil,baking soda and mix it well. knead the dough carefully with water.

Preheat the steamer. Roll the cylindrical shaped muthiya out of dough. And steam the muthiya for 15 minutes. Then check with knife and take it out. Allow to cool down. After that cut them.

Heat oil for tadka and add mustard seeds and let's crackle it. Add sesame seeds, asafoetida,red chillies.Add curry leaves and green chillies and add muthiya. Saute everything for 2-3 minutes. Add coriander and remove. You can add sugar or jaggery if you like.

Dhudhi kothmir na muthiya is ready. Serve with green chutney and curd or a cup of tea.
