Ingredients

  1. 1/2 kgmango ginger
  2. 5 podsgarlic
  3. 1/2 cupred chilly powder
  4. 1 teaspoonmustard powder
  5. 1/2 teaspoonFenugreek powder
  6. 2 table spoonsalt
  7. 250 mlsesame oil
  8. 1/2 teaspoonmustard seeds

Cooking Instructions

    Take mango ginger,wash well,peel out skin, grate it. Keep aside

    Keep a kadai on medium heat, add oil, when the oil is hot enough,add mustard seeds,curry leaves,saute for few minutes,add grated mango ginger, mix well.

    Add turmeric powder, mustard, Fenugreek powder and red chilli powder, mix and let it cook for five minutes.

    Add salt,mix it well. Keep it in low heat for five minutes.

    After sometime oil will loose out from pickle. At this stage remove from heat.Now pickle is ready. Let it cool. Store it in glass bottle.

    Mango ginger pickle is very tasty for curd rice. You can store this pickle for six months.
