Tea Cakes Tea Cakes
I received this recipe years ago from an elderly lady (98 years old) of 12 children. She had 4 sets of twins. She was a gentle soul and loved to cook and feed people. I met her at a birthday party for one of her great grands, we got to talking about baking and I told her about a cookie that my great granny used to make, but no one knew the recipe. A few days later, she sent her daughter to deliver THE COOKIE recipe, she called them TEA CAKES. This is my go-to recipe for rollout cookies. It makes ALOT! #ChristmasGift Sonya Bankester -

Applesauce Cake Applesauce Cake
I had some applesauce so I thought of making this. You can substitute applesauce with chopped fruits (dried or fresh) or jam. It is very easy to make, your little ones can help you stirring and adding things to the batter! My kids are not that fond of cinnamon, so I didn't add any. I think a sprinkle of cinnamon on top will give more oomph to this dish. Angela Mertoyono -

Cute Petit Chocolate Cakes Baked in a Takoyaki Maker! Cute Petit Chocolate Cakes Baked in a Takoyaki Maker!
Make bite sized snacks using a takoyaki maker! They will be cute and bite-sized, so they are great for little gifts! Wonderful for Valentine's Day or Christmas sweets too. If you decorate them, they'll be even cuter. When baking these, cover with aluminium foil. Add the batter to the takoyaki maker, and leave until the surface is a bit dry. But be careful not to overcook them since will become hard! Please adjust the heat. Don't use the oiling brush you normally use for takoyaki, or your little cakes will become takoyaki-flavored. For 2 takoyaki maker batches worth. Recipe by Ro-zuminto cookpad.japan -

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake
This dessert is a delicious cross between a cake and a cookie; it's not as crumbly as a cookie but not as soft as a cake. The size of the pan depends on your personal preference and so does the baking time. Just so you can compare: mine was baked in a 27 cm round cake pan for an hour. Yum! red.queen
