An innovative touch being given to the ever famous Dip. In this amazing take on this dish, I have used dry Lima or Butter beans for the same.
Creamy and luscious. It's absolutely refreshing. It's a great try and is flavourful and mouthwatering. It has a smooth velvety texture and tastes equally delicious and delightful. Desirable and unique in every way. One will certainly love it's awesome aroma and taste.
It can be used as a spread on Sandwiches or served warm with Pita and Breadsticks. An eons-old Middle Eastern dip that is loved by many for it's creamy, velvety smooth texture and taste, is easy to be whipped up at home. The trick lies behind the right blending. A constant blitz with Olive oil added little by little without adding all at a time is actually the correct way of doing it. It takes about a good 15 minutes of blitz with an interval of a few seconds after every 4 minutes. Try this beautiful Dip for your families at home and experience for yourselves the lovely taste of it.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Soak the dry lima or butter beans overnight for best results. Boil with a little salt and drain.
- 2
To a blender, add these boiled lima beans and the other ingredients as well except the olive oil. Blend until smooth and velvety.
- 3
As the process of blending is started, scrape the sides as you blend and keep adding olive oil little at a time for a smooth satin-like hummus.
- 4
Drizzle some extra olive oil and sliced kalamata olives before serving. Or just plain sumac. It's absolutely your choice. Enjoy!

Rajma & Kabuli Chana Hummus Rajma & Kabuli Chana Hummus
#nonindian - Hummus is a traditional dip from the Middle east, which is commonly relished with Arabic bread, grilled meat and salads. Healthy and nutritious, they can be had as a spread on parathas, toast or as a dip with veggie crudites, croutons and chips. You can make Hummus in various ways with a slight change here and there to suit your palate. Here is my version of a Rajma and Kabuli chana dip which I enjoyed with some homemade Manakish (Arabic Bread). Bethica Das -

Hummus Hummus
This is a modification of J. Kenji Lopez-Alt's Serious Eats recipe for hummus for our taste. It requires the use of a powerful blender to achieve the creamy texture of beans. The main modification is with the tahini recipe. We wanted more garlic and acidity in less tahini paste, and want a slightly larger kick of cumin. Yue Logy -
Hummus (Chickpea Dip) Hummus (Chickpea Dip)
A Lebanese friend taught me this recipe. I substituted Japanese nerigoma sesame paste for the tahini to make the preparations easier for myself since I live in Japan, but use what you have available!Although it takes more effort, it tastes better if you make this with cooked dry chickpeas instead of canned. Let the dip rest for several hours in the refrigerator before serving it to let the flavors settle in and round out the taste of the garlic. If you think "maybe it's not quite spicy enough" when you taste the dip right after it's made, it should become just right after having it sit for some time. Tahini (sesame paste) is hard to get in Japan, so I substituted in nerigoma sesame paste which is just a tad thicker in consistency. If you don't have nerigoma either, you can just try adding about a teaspoon of sesame oil. Recipe by nohunohu cookpad.japan -

Hacked and Healthier 'Hummus' Hacked and Healthier 'Hummus'
Everyone tends to sit down with some hummus and just go into a trance of dip and eat. It's nutritional profile isn't all that terrible, but some want to feel even less guilty. Ironically what you may be dipping probably has higher calorie count then even the typical dip so you may want to look that over too.Note: No chickpeas or sesame seeds were injured in the making of this.Food Hacker
