Ingredients

20 minutes
2 serves
  1. 1/2 cupbroken wheat / dalia
  2. 1/4 cupyellow moong dal
  3. 5-6french beans, finely chopped
  4. 1/2a carrot, 🥕 finely chopped
  5. 2 tbspgreen peas
  6. 2 tbspclarified butter/ ghee
  7. 1 tspcumin seeds
  8. 1-2cloves
  9. 1small cinnamon
  10. 1dry red chilli
  11. 1/2 tspginger finely chopped
  12. 2-3curry leaves
  13. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  14. 1 tspKashmiri red chilli powder
  15. 1 tbspcoriander - cumin seeds
  16. 1small onion, finely chopped
  17. 1/4 tsphot chilli - garlic paste
  18. Salt to taste
  19. Coriander to garnish
  20. Fresh curds to serve
  21. Fried potato papad to serve

Cooking Instructions

    Wash dalia & yellow moong dal separately. Mix them & soak them in fresh water for 15 minutes. Chop the veggies finely.

    Pressure cook both dalia & veggies separately. Let the steam release from the pressure cooker.Remove both the bowls.

    Heat clarified butter / ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon & dry red chilli.Saute for 1/2 a minute or till cumin seeds splutter.

    Add hot chilli - garlic paste onions & curry leaves. Saute till onions turn soft. Add all the dry spices. Mix very well. Add 2 tbsp of water, so the spices don't burn or stick to the bottom of the pan.

    Finally add Dalia mixture & veggies. Add salt, mix very well. Serve this one pot meal with fresh curds & fried potato papad.
