Cook dal in a pressure cooker. Got water in the cooker. Add dal, add some haldi.. Close the lid, we have to cook about 2 to 3 whistle.

Now we ready the masala : heat oil in a pan, we add rai, jeera, when it splutters add green chillies, curry leaves and garlic.

After few sec. Add onion and saute it then add dry red chilli and methi and saute it properly

Add red chilli powder and mix it well and add salt. Mix it properly.

After few min. Add dal to that masala. Now boil it properly.

Serve hot dal with steamed rice
