Cooking Instructions

Wash, scrape and grate the carrots. Clean and soak the raisins for 20 min.

Break the khoya in granules.

Heat the ghee in a karahi, fry the raisins in it and take them out. Then stir in the carrots. Keep stirring the carrots till they acquire a darker colour.

Now add the milk, sugar and cook it till it evaporates and the mixture becomes thick. Keep stirring in between.

When the mixture is almost thick, add the raisins and cashew nuts.

Then add the khoya and mix well. Stir the mixture well till it looks like a mass.

Garnish with green cardamom powder and serve hot.
