Ingredients

  1. 750 gmeat
  2. 1.5kilos pishori rice
  3. 4onions diced
  4. Blended pilau spices
  5. Oil
  6. 1 tbspgarlic and ginger
  7. 5medium potatoes cut into half

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and cut the meat

  2. 2

    Wash and drain the rice

  3. 3

    In a pan pour enough oil and fry the onions till translucent then add garlic till fragrant

  4. 4

    Next add the spices and cook for 2minutes,then add meat till well cooked.stir to ensure it doesnt stick to the pan

  5. 5

    Then add the potatoes and fry for 5 minutes

  6. 6

    Add water to the potatoes and let it come to a boil

  7. 7

    Add the rice and let it simmer till the water drains

  8. 8

    Cover and lower heat for 10 minutes. Then put charcoal on top of the lid till rice is well cooked and dry

  9. 9

    Serve with kachumbari and pilipili
