Ingredients

1 hour
64 cookies
  1. 3/4 cupMargarine
  2. 1 cupSugar
  3. 1/4 cupMolasses
  4. 1Egg
  5. 2 tspBaking Soda
  6. 1 1/2 tspCinnamon
  7. 1 1/2 tspGinger Powder
  8. 1/2 tspsalt
  9. 2 cupFlour
  10. 1/4 cupSugar to roll

Cooking Instructions

    Cream Margarine and Sugar together until smooth.

    Add the egg and molasses and blend well.

  3. 3

    Stir in the baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and ginger.

    Stir in the flour.

  5. 5

    Scoop cookies out using a 1/2 TB measuring spoon and roll into balls. Then roll the balls in the rolling sugar and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. If sticky, chill the dough before rolling.

    Bake the cookies at 350F for 10-12 minutes. The cookies will flatten as they bake.

    Remove onto cooling rack and serve.

I will try. It but do I need malases and it says ginger can I use ginger powder
