Bihun Goreng Kampung (Village Fried Rice Noodles) Bihun Goreng Kampung (Village Fried Rice Noodles)
I named this dish ‘Village’ Rice Noodles because my mom used to cook it for me when we lived in a small village long time ago. It’s a very simple dish and it doesn’t use any meat in it because at that time we didn’t have enough money to buy meat for food. But it tastes very good (because it’s Mom’s recipe, of course) especially when you eat it with bird eyes chilies 🌶😋🥵👍🏻Please follow my Instagram @jenscookingdiary for the Indonesian recipes or @jenscookdineandtravel for the English recipes 🙏🏻😊😘 jenscookingdiary -

Squid Tonpei Yaki - Pan-fried Squid Fritters Squid Tonpei Yaki - Pan-fried Squid Fritters
This was my ex's specialty back when we were living together. lol. It was so good I decided to recreate it and I still eat it all the time. I didn't know what it was called so I went with "Tonpei Yaki."For salt and pepper, add a little more than you think you need. I recommend using frozen squid legs because they are plump and filling, but you could easily use a whole squid instead. Fry in the sesame oil until crispy. Recipe by ne-ne cookpad.japan -
Soft Chicken Saute Soft Chicken Saute
This was created when I messed up a dish that I make all the time at home. This healthy failure was the root of my success!*Please take a look at steps 4 and 5.◆The thickness of chicken breast meat varies, so be sure to butterfly it and make cuts in it diagonally.◆This recipe calls for honey, so it does tend to burn easily. Please adjust your heat as necessary. Recipe by Onei cookpad.japan -
