  1. 2 cupsurad dal
  2. 1 cuprice
  3. 1 tspsalt
  4. 1/2 kgoil
  5. 2 glasswater
  6. 1chopped onion
  7. 2 tbspsambhar masala
  8. 1 tbspsambhar masala
  9. 1 tspmustard seeds
  10. 1 tspcumin seeds
  11. 1chopped potato
  12. as per needCoriander
  13. 1 cuplentils (arhar dal, tur dal)
  14. 1 tspturmeric powder
  15. 1chopped tomato

Cooking Instructions

    Soak 2 cups urad dal and 1 cup rice for 5 to 6 hours

    Later add the soaked urad dal and rice in grinder jar.

    Add 2 to 3 tbsp water or as required and grind the urad dal and rice to a smooth batter.

    Add 1 tsp salt mix well

    Apply oil on your hand Take some batter in your right hand from the bowl give it a round shape and with your thumb make a hole in the center.

    In a kadai heat oil.deep fry the vada...

    Take 1 cup arhar dal and 1 chopped tomato (tur dal) Boil the dal in pressure cooker up to 3 whistles and keep it aside.

    Take a pan add 2 tbsp oil 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp mustard seeds 1 chopped onion.. and 1 chopped potato.

    Stir it till onion is half cooked..

    Add red chilli powder salt and 1 tsp sambhar masala..

    Add dal and mix it well..

    Cook the lentils for 10 minutes..

    Ready to serve..
