Ingredients

  1. 1 cupgram flour (besan)
  2. 1 cupkhoya
  3. 1/2 cupghee or oil
  4. 1 tspelaichi powder
  5. 1 cupsugar
  6. 1/2 cupwater
  7. 2 tbspmilk
  8. Chopped Almonds and pista for ganishing

    Make sugar syrup with sugar and water mentioned. Boil it it gets bit sticky but not very thick. Other hand start to sprinkle milk on besan, mix with fingers and leave it 10 mins. Cook the besan on medium heat in heavy bottomed pan. Cook it it leaves an aroma and is golden brown by stiring well. Add khoya to this mixture, saute few mins. Keep adding oil or ghee while cooking the besan.

    Lower the flame of gas to minimum. Pour the ready syrup bit by bit and keep stiring. Add elaichi powder. Stir well and put off fire.

    Leave the mixture for 5 mins. Grease thali or tray with oil. Transfer the mithai into it. Sprinkle almonds and pista on it. Grease a small bowl or plate to spread and set the mixture equally. Let it cool. Cut into pcs and serve.
