Croutons made in the oven! Done in 15 minutes!

Please watch your time, since the croutons will burn quickly after they've been mixed with olive oil.

Scatter the dried parsley to finish. If you scatter them before baking, it's likely that they will burn.

You will also use the bread crust. Leftover crusts from making sandwiches are great to make croutons! Recipe by Cooking S Papa

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 sliceSliced bread (8 slices)
  2. 1 dashKrazy Salt
  3. 2 tbspOlive oil
  4. 1Dried parsley
  5. 1Garlic powder

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Dice the sliced bread into 1 cm cubes. You will also use the crust.

  2. 2

Heat a flat container in a 150℃ preheated oven.

  3. 3

Once preheated, place the bread cubes onto the flat container. Heat for 5 minutes in the oven at 150℃. It's more like drying the croutons rather than baking them.

  4. 4

After 5 minutes, take them out from the oven and transfer into a bowl. Sprinkle on the olive oil.

  5. 5

Scatter on the Krazy Salt and mix well. Add garlic powder if you'd like. Turn the oven up to 180℃, and bake the croutons for 5 more minutes.

  6. 6

After some time, transfer the croutons back into a bowl. Scatter a decent amount of dried parsley and mix thoroughly.

  7. 7

You can make cute croutons if you use a cutter.
