Pork with Mushroom Soy Milk Sauce

Grated ginger in the sauce will make people who don't like soy milk forget that there's soy milk in it. This is a great way to enjoy meat with a rich mushroom sauce.
You can use meat intended for making sliced ginger pork, or any cut of pork.
I added sugar to make this sauce richer, but it still tastes good without any sugar.
If you don't like soy milk, add a generous amount of ginger, or use double cream instead!
I also recommend using a generous amount of ginger for those who are on a diet. Recipe by Masatakamama

Cooking Instructions
- 1
These are the ingredients I used!
- 2
Put the meat in a plastic bag to keep the cutting board clean. Flatten the meat, mainly pounding around the boarder of fat and red meat to prevent it from shrinking. Season both sides of the meat with Krazy Salt.
- 3
Put the garlic cloves in a plastic bag and crush them.
- 4
Slice the stem end of the mushrooms, and cut or shred them into bite-sized pieces.
- 5
Put the oil and garlics in a frying pan and turn on the heat. ☆Use 1 teaspoon of oil if you are on a diet!
- 6
Add the meat from Step 2 and brown both sides. Take out the garlics and meat and put them aside onto a plate.
- 7
In the same frying pan, add the mushrooms from Step 4, and fry well. Wipe away some oil in the frying pan first when you are on a diet.
- 8
Add the soy milk, sugar, Krazy Salt, lemon juice and grated ginger, and bring to a boil, then turn off the heat. Don't add sugar when you are on a diet!
- 9
Serve on a plate, sprinkle with black pepper, and it's done.

Cold Soba Noodles with Soy Milk Sauce Cold Soba Noodles with Soy Milk Sauce
I won a contest to become a tester for a brand of mentsuyu, so I tried making this. There's soy milk miso soup, so I thought that soy milk soba dipping sauce should work too - and it was delicious! I thought I'd try milk first, but that has a character that doesn't really go well with this. I think that soy milk just goes better with Japanese ingredients. I don't have special bamboo plates for cold soba, so I just used a sushi rolling mat under the soba noodles and used tea cups as dipping cups...
