I often bake salmon in aluminum foil this way. It's a versatile dish.

Just a little butter is fine! Add a dash of garlic seasoning to enrich the flavor. For 3 servings. Recipe by Ayanami Aya

  3. 1/2 bunchShimeji mushrooms (or other mushroom of your choice)
  4. 3 tspButter (or margarine)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Season the salmon with salt and pepper, slice the onion into 3mm wedges, then trim and separate the mushrooms.

  2. 2

Put a dab of butter on aluminum foil, then spread the onions on top. Add a little salt and pepper.

  3. 3

Place the salmon on top of the onions.

  4. 4

    Top with mushrooms.

  5. 5

Wrap and cook in a oven for 15-20 minutes. (Adjust the cooking time accordingly.)

  6. 6

Once it's finished, drizzle on ponzu (citrus-based soy sauce) to taste. I also recommend seasoning it with black pepper and other spices of your choice.

After Step 3, season with garlic seasoning for a more professional taste.
