Methi Palak And Amaranth Saag

A thick and luscious curry/saag made from vibrant leafy greens and spices.
In the native tongue, this is referred to as various greens beaten with butter, onions, garlic ginger and green chillies.
Serve with Ugali and onion rings. (A staple food of East Africa)
Cooking Instructions

Wash and chop all the leaves / Bhaji.
Chop the onion tomato chilli garlic and ginger.
Add washed bhaji,onion,garlic,ginger, chilli and water in the pan.
Cover the pan and let it boil for 7-8 minutes. - 2

After the bhaji gets a little cool, add maize flower and beat with electric beater and half mesh the bhaji.

Now in another pan add Ghee,garlic,ginger and red chilli.along with chopped onions.
Saute till translucent.
Now add tomato and salt. Saute till tomato gets mushy.
Add chilli turmeric and coriander powder in the tadka and saute till oil release, after that add tadka in the bhaji and mix everything well.
Let it cook for another,2-3 minutes then switch off the gas. - 6

Our Yummy saag is ready.
Transfer into Glass bowl.
Serve the saag with ugali and kachimbari/onion rings.
