Ingredients

  1. Koftas
  2. 150 mlNatural Yogurt
  3. 75 gramsFlour
  4. 2 tbspChopped Fresh Coriander Leaves
  5. 6Green Chillies, Finely Chopped
  6. 1 tspCumin Seeds
  7. Salt to Taste (~1/2 tsp)
  8. Paste
  9. 2 tspCoriander Seeds
  10. 1 tspCumin Seeds
  11. 1Onion, Chopped
  12. 1 tspGarlic Paste
  13. 1 tspGinger Paste
  14. 2Green Chllies
  15. 1 tspChopped Fresh Coriander Leaves
  16. 1/4 tspTumeric
  17. Other
  18. 1 can(250 g) Tomato Sauce
  19. 250 ml(1 Cup) Water
  20. 50 grams(3.5 Tbsp) Butter
  21. 5 tbspMilk
  22. Salt to Taste (~1 tsp)
  23. 2 tbspHalf and Half
  24. 1/2 tspSugar
  25. Oil for Deep Frying

Cooking Instructions

    Mix all the ingredients for the koftas to make a thick batter.

    Heat the oil for deep frying. Drop spoonfuls of the kofta mixture into the hot oil, then fry until golden brown. Drain carefully on absorbent kitchen paper.

    Grind all the paste ingredients to make the paste.

    Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the baste and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent sticking to the pan.

    Stir in the tomato sauce, milk, salt and water. Bring to the boil and boil stadily for 10 minutes.

    Stir the half and half into the sauce and add the sufar. Add the koftas just before serving.
