Ingredients

30 mins
  1. 2leeks (sliced)
  2. 4Spring onions (sliced)
  3. 1 mediumonion (roughly chopped)
  4. 3 tbspolive oil
  5. 1/4 tspgarlic salt
  6. 1/4 tspblack pepper
  7. 5 cupof water
  8. 1 1/2 tbsptomato paste
  9. 1chicken stock cube
  10. 1/4 tspCayenne chilli pepper
  11. 200 gramspork or chicken (optional)
  12. 2 mediumpotatoes (chopped) optional
  13. 1/2yellow pepper (chopped) optional

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the oil on a medium heat.

    Brown the onions for about 3-4 minutes.

    Add the tomato paste and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add half of the water, stock cube and bring to the boil.

  5. 5

    Add the meat and cook for about 10-15 minutes.

  6. 6

    Add the vegatables, salt, chilli and pepper and simmer for about 15 minutes.

  7. 7

    Add the rest of the water and simmer for another 10 minutes

  8. 8

    Check your seasoning, add more chilli, salt and pepper if required and serve.
