Ingredients

  1. 250 gmPaneer/Cottage cheese
  2. 3-4Tomato
  3. 2Green chilli
  4. 1 teaspoonGinger (chopped)
  5. 4-5Cashew nuts
  6. 4-5Almonds
  7. 10-15Raisins
  8. 3-4 tablespoonCurd (thick)
  9. 4-5Cloves
  10. 2Cardmom
  11. 2Bay leaves
  12. 1/2 teaspoonCumin seeds
  13. To tasteSalt
  14. 1/4 teaspoonTurmeric powder
  15. 1 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  16. 1/2 teaspoonCoriander powder
  17. 1/2 teaspoonCumin powder
  18. 1/2 teaspoonGaram masala powder
  19. 1-2 teaspoonSugar
  20. 1 teaspoonDry fenugreek leaves (crushed)
  21. 4-5 tablespoonOil

Cooking Instructions

    Roughly cut tomatoes and tomatoes and put it in a grinder then add cashew nuts, raisins, almonds and ginger into it and grind it into fine paste.

    Heat oil in a pan and fry paneer cubes till it becomes golden in colour.

    In the same pan and in the left oil, add cardamom, cloves, bay leaves and cumin seeds and allow it to crackle.

    Now add tomato mixture in it and cook it approximately 10 minutes or until it starts leaving oil.

    Meanwhile, take curd in a bowl and into it add salt, turmeric powder,red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and garam masala powder and mix them well.

    Now put this mixture in tomato mix and cover it with lid and allow it to cool for 5-7 minutes on medium flame. After that you'll we it start leaving sides of the pan it becomes little oily.

    Now add water as per your preference for gravy, kaauri methi and sugar and cook it for 5 minutes. Then add paneer cubes in it and again cover it with lid and cook for 3-4 minutes and switch off the flame.

    Your dhaba style paneer is ready to serve.
