Ingredients

  1. 1 bowl or 200 gramsUrad dal
  2. 1Onion chopped finely
  3. to tasteGreen chillies
  4. 1 pinchHing
  5. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  6. as neededOil for deep frying
  7. 1 tspJeera
  8. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Soak urad dal for 4 hours. Drain water and grind in mixie into a fine paste. Add all ingredients except oil in the grinded mixture. Mix well.

    Take a small ball shape from the dough.

    Shape it on the back side of a flat bowl. Make an insertion using finger in the middle.

    Heat oil in a kadhai. Add the prepared vada in oil. Deep fry till the vadas are crisp on both sides

    Remove from oil and serve with ketchup.
