Ingredients

  1. 200 gmsPaneer (Cottage Cheese)
  2. 100 gmsSelf Raising Flour
  3. 100 gmsCornflour
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 1-2 tspVinegar
  6. 1-2 tspSoy Sauce
  7. as neededOil (For Deep Frying)
  8. 2Onions (Finely Chopped)
  9. 4Green Chillies (Finely Chopped)
  10. as neededCurry Leaves (Few)
  11. 1 1/2 tbspGinger Paste
  12. 1 1/2 tbspGarlic Paste
  13. to tasteBlack Pepper Powder
  14. 1 tspChilli Flakes

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Combine the self raising flour and cornflour in a bowl. Add salt and enough water and mix well. Add vinegar and soy sauce and mix.

    Heat oil in a pan over medium flame. Add onions, green chillies, curry leaves, ginger and garlic paste, pepper powder, chilli flakes and stir well. After a minute remove from flame and add it to the batter. Mix well.

    Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. Dip the paneer fingers in the batter. Fry until crispy and golden brown.

    Remove, drain excess oil and serve hot with sauce or chutney of choice.
