Meatballs in Sauce with French Fries

Cooking Instructions
- 1
In a bowl, mix the ground meat and ham with the eggs, garlic powder, parsley, breadcrumbs, and salt. Let it marinate for about 30 minutes.
- 2
In a pot, sauté the garlic and onion. When they are golden, add the carrot, zucchini, eggplant, bell pepper, tomato, and beef bouillon cube. Let it sauté for about 10 minutes over medium heat.
- 3
Next, add the spices and wine. Let the alcohol evaporate, then add 2 cups of water and let it cook. When the vegetables are soft, blend them with a blender to make a thick and delicious sauce.
- 4
In a pan, heat oil and form the ground meat into meatballs. Coat them in flour and fry them. Once fried, add them to the sauce and let them simmer for about 10 minutes on low heat.
- 5
Then fry the potatoes and it's ready to eat. Enjoy your meal!

Pretty nice meatballs; leftovers can be frozen; use salt reduced paste and stock, and do not add extra salt to the sauce, or else it might be a bit too salty. (Pic has capsicum instead of celery, this recipe is great for substituting veggies) Saffie La Rue -
