Ingredients

  1. 250 gramBaby potatoes boiled and peeled
  2. 1/2 teaspoonMustard seeds
  3. 1 teaspoonCumin seeds
  4. 1/4 teaspoonasafoetida
  5. 1/2 teaspoonfenugreek seeds
  6. 1/4 teaspoonfennel seeds
  7. 1/2 teaspoonTurmeric powder
  8. 1 teaspoonRed Chilli powder or to taste
  9. 1/2 teaspoonCoriander powder
  10. 1/2 teaspoongaram masala
  11. 1/2 teaspoondry mango powder
  12. 1 teaspoonSalt
  13. 8Curry leaves
  14. 2Dried red chilies whole
  15. 1 tablespoonTamarind pulp
  16. 1 tablespoonmustard Oil
  17. 1 tablespoonchopped Coriander leaves for garnish

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, fennel, fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds, allow it to crackle, Now add curry leaves and whole red chilies, fry for few seconds

    Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, garam masala, dry mango powder and sauté for a minute

    Now, add boiled and peeled baby potatoes, sauté well for 2 minutes so that all the masala and flavours infuse into the potatoes.

    Add 1 teaspoon water and tamarind pulp, sauté for few seconds

    Finally add coriander leaves and toss your Spicy baby potatoes are ready to serve.
