Steps

  1. 1

Pre soak the dal overnite. Now boil it in a pressure cooker. Keep it aside. Retain the stock. Now take the fish. I have taken bhetki (boneless) if u have it with bone the just boil it it will get soft. Remove the bones from it. In a pan add oil shallow fry the fish and then make it into small pcs. The fish before frying as well as boiling should be marinate with salt and turmeric.

  2. 2

In the same pan add the onion paste saute it till pink. Then add the ginger and garlic paste. Again saute it. Then add the finely chopped tomatoes. Fry it add very little salt so that the tomatoes melts. Now add turmeric and red Chile powder. Dhaniya and jeera powder and tadka masala. Mix all the masala well. Now add half of the fish. Let it cook with the masala.
