Ingredients

  1. 1 kgUndercut steak pieces
  2. 100 gramsYoghurt
  3. 3 tbspPapaya paste
  4. 1Onion (fried and ground)
  5. 2 tbspGinger/garlic paste
  6. 1 tspRoasted and crushed cumin seeds
  7. 2 tbspNational Tikka boti masala
  8. 1 tspCrushed red chillies
  9. 1 tspHot spices powder
  10. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  11. 4 tbspRoasted & ground Bengal grams
  12. 4 tbspMustard oil
  13. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Marinate steak pieces with papaya paste for at least 4 hours.

    Mix steak pieces, onion, yoghurt, ginger/garlic, mustard oil, turmeric powder, hot spices powder, red chilies, Nation Tikka boti masala, cumin seeds, grams and salt in a bowl.

    After 1 hour you can either put them on skewers and cook them over coals, steam and fry them You can also cook it in the oven..

    Garnish with sliced lemon, coriander leaves, green chilies and sliced onion.

    Serve delicious Bihari Boti with ‘roti, salad, raita, national ketchup and tamarind/mint chtuney.
