Pan Fried Miso Pork

I was tired of soy sauce flavored ginger pork, so I tried adding miso.
The sauce is very well flavored, so serve it with lots of shredded cabbage. You can use sugar instead of honey. For 2 to 3 servings. Recipe by chima@

Cooking Instructions
- 1
I used pork roast meat pre-sliced for ginger pork.
- 2
Cut off the sinews from the meat.
- 3
Mix the miso sauce ingredients together, and marinate the meat in it for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Pan fry in a frying pan over low heat, taking care not to let it burn.
- 4
To freeze for bentos: Put small offcuts of pork in the miso sauce, wrap in 100 g portions and freezer. If you freeze them a single layer, they'll defrost fast.

A Family Favorite: Pan Fried Miso Pork A Family Favorite: Pan Fried Miso Pork
This is my family's basic recipe. My children do not eat fried ginger pork, and it does not go well in bento, so I make this more.Using cheap slide pork thigh as opposed to loin is sufficient. It has a nicer texture, so it is actually better to use sliced pork thigh. This will become too salty if you add too much miso, so be careful. Adjust the amount according to the miso you have at home.If you cook this through in 2 steps, then the remaining miso will darken the color of the meat, but don't let it bother you ;.The miso might splatter when cooking, so be careful. For 2 servings. Recipe by Nonbirieririn cookpad.japan -
Pan-Fried Bitter Melon and Pork with Miso Pan-Fried Bitter Melon and Pork with Miso
I thought of making a milder tasting dish with bitter melon.Boil the bitter melon in a pot for 30 seconds. Be careful not to over-cook it, because the color of bitter melon will fade out. If you like, you can sprinkle bonito flakes in the end which will make it even tastier. Reducing the amount of miso in half and adding Chinese sauces such as tian mian jiang (sweet bean sauce) or douchi (black bean garlic sauce) are very delicious alternatives! For 4 servings.
