Great easy side dish that goes well with may things.

Ingredients

4-6 servings
  1. 3 quartswater
  2. 8 ouncesOrzo
  3. 1 teaspoonsalt- for the water
  4. 2 ouncesbutter
  5. 2-3 clovesgarlic- finely chopped (If you love garlic add more:)
  6. 6-8each basil leaves- no stems -- cut last minute lightly chopped
  7. 1/2 cupParmesan cheese gated

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook orzo per the box directions.

  2. 2

    Rinse the cooked orzo off with cold water to stop the cooking, then strain and place in bowl.

  3. 3

    In a sauté pan melt the butter and sauté the finely chopped garlic for 1 minute or until lightly golden.

  4. 4

    Add the orzo to reheat. Over a medium heat for about 2 minutes or until hot.

  5. 5

    Season with salt pepper and to taste.

  6. 6

    Take off the heat add the chopped basil leaves and sprinkle and toss together the cheese to finish.

  7. 7

    Serve ASAP ; )
